Coach Days

Each month, between mid spring and early Autumn we aim to run a Tuesday coach trip open to all Sections (current cost £15) . We travel to destinations which have something for everyone such as Buxton and Ambleside. Three levels of walks are usually arranged or members can ‘do their own thing’ taking shorter walks and visiting the town’s attractions. The coach leaves at 8.00am and will have two pick up points, West Kirby and either Greasby or Heswall.

Walking Holidays

October Walking Holiday: The Club arranges a four day hotel based holiday often in the Keswick area of the north Lake District. It is open to all club members. Various levels of walks are arranged and this is always a very popular event.

Southern Spain in February: Although not a formal Club event, there is an established tradition that many members travel independently to a tried and tested hotel in Nerja (east of Malaga) where they meet up with other groups from Merseyside for two weeks walking in the nearby mountains and exploring local towns.

Social Events

Two main annual social events are arranged for the club as a whole, a Christmas meal with transport usually to a North Wales hotel and a February luncheon with speaker held at a venue in Wirral. The club’s three Sections also arrange events for their regular walkers.
