West Kirby Rambling Group
We are a rambling club with some 200 members. Every Tuesday throughout the year, our three Sections provide a range of great walks for all abilities, from rough trails and scrambles in Snowdonia to the gentler paths of our nearby country and coastal parks. Members can walk with any Section. We also arrange coach travel days, walking holidays and social events. New members are always welcome!
West Kirby Rambling Group
We are a walking Club formed some thirty years ago and now have over 200 members coming from all parts of Wirral and beyond.
We are an entirely voluntary organisation, with no profit-making activities, run entirely by and for its membership. Walks are led by members themselves who generally have no formal training or certification. Walking, particularly in mountains and hills can involve some hazards and members participate entirely at their own risk.
The club, under its formal title of the West Kirby Over 50s Rambling Group has a formal constitution, rules, a managing committee and a yearly AGM. It is also affiliated to the national Ramblers.
We usuallly have space for new members. To enquire about joining, send a message via the Contact Use page.
